Streamliner & Associates, Inc. was established on the foundation of intelligent design and quality workmanship, with the design and patent by Rolf Kraemer, who has an extensive background in designing various types of tooling for the machining and manufacturing industries, boasting numerous patents to his name.
In partnership with Sharp Tool And Die, Inc., Streamliner was created to produce the Streamliner line of through coolant lathe tools. Sharp Tool And Die, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Ken and Carol Myers and is renowned for its expertise in Indexable tool build and repair, catering to a major automotive manufacturer and other well-known manufacturing firms. Sharp Tool And Die, Inc. has now evolved into a full-service tool and die shop providing fixturing, mold and die work, and serving a diverse customer base across the nation. The company's success is based on its over 40 years of experience and commitment to quality, considering tool and die to be a highly skilled service that demands experience and knowledge, with the end product being a testament to their customers' satisfaction.
In 2013, Alec Myers, Ken, and Carol's nephew, together with his wife Denise and daughter Hannah, became the new owners of Sharp Tool and Die, Inc. Alec had been with Sharp Tool since 1999, working alongside Ken to preserve a lifetime's worth of knowledge and pass it on.
The Streamliner line of tooling is manufactured in the USA using high-quality materials and process controls to ensure that not only its accuracy but its performance is at its best. Streamliner and Associates, Inc. is now a division of Sharp Tool And Die, Inc., bringing manufacturing and distribution together in one place.
